The Vaca Muerta Oil (VMOS) Sur project entails building a 437 km (271 mi) pipeline with a 30-inch diameter, from Allen to Punta Colorada on the Atlantic coast in the province of Río Negro. The realization of a project of this magnitude must overcome technical challenges, including the execution of 76 special crossings. Two of these will be carried out using Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) technology. The mobilization of over 300 key heavy construction vehicles stands out as essential to completing the work within the scheduled timeframe.
